Chinese Concept Stocks | TSMC and Pinduoduo Surge, Alibaba and Bilibili Decline Amid Market Fluctuations

On January 6, Eastern Time (Monday), the three major U.S. stock indexes showed mixed results. The S&P 500 rose by 0.55%, closing at 5975.38 points; the Dow Jones index fell by 0.06%, closing at 42706.56 points; and the Nasdaq index rose by 1.24%, closing at 19864.98 points.

On January 3, the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index increased by 0.93%.

Among popular Chinese concept stocks, TSMC rose by 5.46%, Pinduoduo by 2.27%, NIO by 1.62%, XPeng Motors by 0.30%, Alibaba by 0.01%, while Bilibili fell by 0.76%, Baidu by 0.66%, JD.com by 0.57%, and NetEase by 0.03%.

In terms of continuously rising Chinese concept stocks, Zhongchi Chafu rose by 3.13% for 7 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 2.22%. Future Vision rose by 0.10% for 7 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 0.20%. Singularity Future rose by 14.22% for 6 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 60.69%. Daqo New Energy rose by 0.43% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 8.67%. Huapu Group rose by 17.46% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 39.36%. Able View Global rose by 20.13% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 37.86%. Jinsheng Yule rose by 0.38% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 30.69%.

In terms of continuously falling Chinese concept stocks, Bilibili fell by 0.76% for 6 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 12.24%. Douyu fell by 1.90% for 6 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 7.67%. Yatsen Global fell by 5.41% for 6 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 30.40%. Studio City fell by 4.41% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 23.14%. Aihuishou fell by 1.45% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 10.86%. Qudian fell by 3.26% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 9.18%. Miniso fell by 0.83% for 5 consecutive days with a cumulative decrease of 12.85%.
