On the evening of July 31, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. issued a statement claiming that the collision test misled the public, significantly differing from actual scenarios, and reserved the right to pursue legal action. On August 1, Li Auto responded that the super experiment simulating the collision between the i8 and the truck was based on real traffic scenarios encountered by users. The test site, equipment, and randomly purchased test truck were all provided by a third-party testing organization.
