Chinese Concept Stocks | Nasdaq Golden Dragon Index Plummets 8.87% as Major Chinese Stocks Tumble

On Eastern Time April 4th (Friday), the three major U.S. stock indices plummeted, with the S&P 500 index down 5.98% to close at 5074.08 points; the Dow Jones index down 5.50% to 38314.86 points; and the Nasdaq index down 5.82% to 15587.79 points.

On April 4th, the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell by 8.87%.

Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Alibaba fell 9.91%, Pinduoduo fell 8.32%, Baidu fell 8.21%, XPeng Motors fell 8.00%, JD fell 7.74%, NIO fell 7.49%, TSMC fell 6.81%, NetEase fell 5.79%, and Bilibili fell 13.49%.

In terms of continuously rising Chinese concept stocks, Distoken increased by 1.53% over 36 consecutive days with a cumulative increase of 1.53%; Lianzhangmenhu rose by 0.12% over 4 days with a cumulative increase of 20.84%; Wangban Technology climbed by 33.00% over 3 days with a cumulative increase of 27.53%; 51talk rose by 0.53% over 3 days with a cumulative increase of 4.40%; Boshi Education increased by 10.18% over 3 days with a cumulative increase of 12.20%; and Sanyi Technology rose by 1.38% over 3 days with a cumulative increase of 4.86%.

Regarding continuously falling Chinese concept stocks, Burning Rock Biotech fell by 4.50% over 11 consecutive days with a cumulative drop of 34.51%; Pony.ai dropped by 7.37% over 9 days with a cumulative decrease of 51.48%; ECARX Technologies fell by 4.59% over 8 days with a cumulative drop of 63.76%; MKDWELL Tech declined by 26.09% over 8 days with a cumulative decrease of 54.67%; KEBIAO Technology fell by 3.40% over 7 days with a cumulative drop of 17.72%; and Tianmei Bio fell by 6.00% over 7 days with a cumulative decrease of 62.81%.
