China's Largest Offshore Oilfield Sets Record with 40 Million Tonnes of Oil Equivalent Output

China's Bohai Oilfield, the country's largest offshore oilfield, has produced a record 40 million tonnes of oil equivalent in 2025. The field has a cumulative crude oil output of over 600 million tonnes and has seen annual growth of 5% over the past five years. The oilfield is advancing digital and green transformation, with breakthroughs in key equipment localization and onshore power connections for over 80% of its oilfields.
