China International Consumer Goods Fair Showcases AI Innovations

The fifth edition of the China International Consumer Goods Fair was held from April 13 to 18 at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event attracted over 1,700 consumer enterprises and 4,100 brands from 71 countries and regions, showcasing a wide array of consumer goods across eight exhibition halls. These halls were divided into various themed areas, including consumer technology, global sourcing, premium food and health products, global specialty consumer goods, fashion and lifestyle, and domestic trendy products.

Artificial intelligence, a hot topic this year, made its debut at the fair with a dedicated exhibition area. Notable participants included Unitree, Junhe Technology, and Qiangnao Technology, all part of the "Hangzhou Six Little Dragons" known for their innovative AI solutions. Unitree's GO2 quadruped robot was a standout attraction, captivating audiences with its lifelike movements and precise execution of various actions such as jumping, stretching, shaking hands, expressing joy, and playfully interacting with spectators. The robot's dynamic performance drew significant attention and engagement from visitors.

Qiangnao Technology showcased its intelligent bionic hand, which integrates brain-computer interface technology with AI algorithms. This high-tech rehabilitation aid collects and processes bioelectrical signals from the body to control the bionic hand's movements. The demonstration highlighted the potential of AI in enhancing rehabilitation and improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Over the next few days, the fair will transform into a global showcase of consumer excellence, featuring cutting-edge technology, smart living solutions, global products, and trendy domestic brands.
