China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance: The total export of power and other batteries in China in October was 1.99GWh, up 38.6% YoY

Securities Times News, the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released the monthly information of power batteries in October 2024 on November 11. In October, the total export of power batteries and other batteries in China was 1.99GWh, down 1.6% month-on-month and up 38.6% year-on-year. The total export accounted for 18.0% of the sales in the month. Among them, the export of power batteries was 1.08GWh, accounting for 54.6% of the total export, down 7.8% month-on-month and down 3.8% year-on-year; the export of other batteries was 0.9GWh, accounting for 45.4% of the total export, up 7.0% month-on-month and up 194.0% year-on-year. From January to October, the cumulative export of power batteries and other batteries in China reached 14.6GWh, up 26.5% year-on-year. The cumulative total export accounted for 18.3% of the cumulative sales in the first 10 months. Among them, the cumulative export of power batteries was 103.3GWh, accounting for 70.8% of the total export, up 2.7% year-on-year; the cumulative export of other batteries was 42.6GWh, accounting for 29.2% of the total export, up 189.5% year-on-year.
