In 2007, Yutongyue, Chairman of Chery Holdings Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chery Holdings"), publicly stated that Chery would soon list on the domestic capital market. Recently, there was news that Chery Holdings recently obtained a share financing, which may pave the way for its IPO. The investment parties of this share financing are Qingdao Municipal Investment Group, IDG Capital and Fire Eye Investment.Chery's website shows that the company was founded in 1997 and sells cars under the Chery and Ariesse brands in China and overseas.
