Chennai Deputy Mayor Inspects Marina Beach Renovation and Blue Flag Certification Works

Chennai Deputy Mayor M. Magesh Kumaar inspected the proposed renovation of the pathway for persons with disabilities at Marina Beach and reviewed ongoing works to acquire Blue Flag certification by the Greater Chennai Corporation. The renovation includes various facilities such as surveillance towers, shaded seating areas, rest zones, and ramps for persons with disabilities, under the TN-SHORE Scheme for an estimated cost of ₹6 crore.
