Customers who will be taking delivery of the Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen3 business jet now have the option to include the Gogo Galileo HDX connectivity solution installed on their aircraft [1]. This advanced connectivity feature enhances the in-flight experience by providing a global low-earth orbit (LEO) solution with a fuselage-mounted HDX antenna, ensuring a seamless, high-speed connection regardless of the location [2]. The CJ4 Gen3, manufactured by Textron Aviation, is designed for luxury and productivity, and joins other Cessna models offering Gogo's high-speed, low-latency connectivity solution.

The Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen3 is the largest aircraft in the light jet segment, combining superior speed, range, and operating economics compared to larger aircraft. It is valued by customers around the world for its luxury and productivity, as well as its versatility in various missions, including air ambulance, maritime patrol, search and rescue, and aerial survey [3]. The aircraft is expected to feature a maximum range of 2,165 nm and a maximum payload of 2,200 pounds, with seating for up to 11 occupants and a 1,040-pound baggage capacity.

Gogo's Galileo HDX connectivity solution builds on its proven AVANCE platform, enhancing the inflight cabin experience. The CJ4 Gen3 incorporates the next-generation Garmin G3000 PRIME avionics for intuitive, seamless control for pilots, and includes revolutionary Garmin Emergency Autoland technology and Garmin Autothrottles for added safety and precision [2]. This connectivity option was announced in October 2024 as an option for customers taking delivery of new Cessna Citation Longitude, Citation Latitude, or Citation Ascend models [1].

The CJ4 Gen3 is expected to enter into service in 2026, further solidifying Textron Aviation's position in the business jet market. With this new connectivity option, the CJ4 Gen3 continues to offer a robust and productive in-flight experience for its passengers.
