The modernization initiative, set to commence in 2026, aims to enhance the onboard experience for guests and improve the overall efficiency of the ships. The investment will focus on adding new amenities, dining options, and entertainment venues.
The first ship to undergo the modernization will be Celebrity Solstice, which will be followed by other Solstice Series ships. The enhancements will include eight new spaces, four new venues, and many reimagined favorites. Notable additions include the Boulevard Lounge, Boulevard Bar, Celebrity Barcade, Trattoria Rossa, Fine Cut Steakhouse, Sunset Park, new private cabanas, and an expanded Sunset Bar. Additionally, all 1,479 staterooms on Celebrity Solstice will be upgraded, offering more ways to feel at home when miles away at sea.

Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises, stated, "Our Solstice Series ships represent the best of classic cruising, and now we're elevating this vacation experience even further by adding brand new experiences and enhancements at every turn."
