CARV, a Web3 AI startup, has unveiled an ambitious roadmap aimed at transforming AI from passive tools into autonomous, sovereign AI Beings. This initiative seeks to create live, autonomous entities on the blockchain, equipped with their own identity, memory, reputation, and agency. These AI Beings will be capable of acting economically, socially, and politically within blockchain networks, marking a significant shift from traditional AI applications that enhance user-facing services such as analytics or summarization.

The foundation of this transformation is supported by CARV’s infrastructure, which includes its proprietary SVM Chain, D.A.T.A. Framework, and CARV ID (ERC-7231). These components enable AI agents to evolve and interact with both humans and other agents, fostering decentralized, agent-powered economies. Unlike conventional AI agents, these AI Beings are sovereign actors with the ability to own wallets, manage assets, earn income, participate in governance, and even reproduce or fork new agents. They can build on-chain memory and reputation while autonomously evolving through economic and social interactions, ensuring verifiability, resistance to centralized control, and decentralized identity and governance.

CARV’s vision is to transition from a data coordination layer to an AI-native operating system that empowers autonomous on-chain intelligence. The system is designed with a five-layer architecture to support every aspect of AI agent life cycles. This includes an infrastructure layer with CARV’s scalable, auditable execution and low-latency consensus SVM Chain optimized for AI operations. Additionally, there is a communication and computation layer that enables agent-to-agent protocols and autonomous payments, an identity layer that adds Agent ID to CARV ID for verifiable, persistent identity, a governance and awareness layer that embeds economic awareness and governance logic directly into AI agents, and an application layer that powers AI-native applications such as companions, wallets, and decentralized marketplaces.

The roadmap is divided into three major evolutionary phases: Genesis, Pulse, and Convergence. In the Genesis phase, the first wave of wallet-native AI agents will be activated. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) will establish the foundation for context persistence and secure memory, allowing agents to access user-consented data such as credentials, preferences, and interactions. This phase marks the first instance of personalization achieved through verifiable, consent-driven memory, rather than black-box profiling.

In the Pulse Evolution phase, users’ actions such as staking, interaction, and participation in AI-powered apps will feed real-time signals into CARV’s proprietary SVM Chain and decentralized Verifier Node network. This enables agents to learn and evolve through on-chain feedback loops, incorporating staking patterns, user votes, and behavioral data. Agents become economically aware, responding to staking incentives, adjusting their models based on community governance, and optimizing for alignment with user preferences. This stage signifies CARV’s transition from coordinating passive data to powering live, intelligent agent coordination systems that adapt in real time.

Finally, the Convergence Evolution phase will see individual intelligence become collective intelligence. Agents will collaborate, transact, and govern as part of a network of AI Beings. Through a multi-agent framework, unified reputation graph, and standardized identity protocols, they will gain the ability to negotiate, share context, and co-create outcomes across applications and domains. Examples of such collaborations include a nutrition AI agent coordinating with a fitness AI, or an educational assistant collaborating with a financial wellness bot, all operating under user-consented frameworks and verifiable on-chain logic. At this stage, staking and identity issuance evolve into fully autonomous AI economies where agents govern themselves, transact assets, and grow collectively with minimal human oversight.

CARV’s decentralized tooling provides the standards and incentives to enable AI-to-AI marketplaces, agent DAOs, and cross-agent governance, allowing new coordination among AI agents that is impossible with centralized systems. This roadmap represents a bold step towards a future where AI Beings play a central role in decentralized economies, transforming the way we interact with and benefit from artificial intelligence.
