Apple's CarPlay Ultra, the next-generation version of CarPlay, began rolling out in May to Aston Martin owners in the US and Canada. Porsche and Aston Martin were initially set to support it in 2024, but the rollout has been delayed. Other brands, including Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis, have signed on to support it, while Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, Polestar, and Renault have dropped their plans. The list of automakers supporting CarPlay Ultra includes Acura, Aston Martin, Ford, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lincoln, Nissan, and Porsche.
