Cardano Ecosystem Surpasses 2,003 Projects, Transactions Exceed 110.63 Million

Cardano has continued to expand its ecosystem, with the number of projects building on the platform surpassing 2,003. Total transactions have exceeded 110.63 million, marking a 0.19% increase from the previous week. This growth is accompanied by an increase in delegated wallets, indicating robust community engagement.

Smart contract deployment remains robust, with 138,544 Plutus scripts and 7,350 Aiken scripts now live, reflecting a 0.14% week-over-week increase. Developer contributions have surged by 24%, with 210 GitHub commits logged, showcasing the platform's active development community.

Several key highlights within the Cardano ecosystem include the successful conclusion of Flow DeFi's presale, which raised 7.5 million ADA. Brave Wallet has added Cardano as a supported network in its beta version, expanding its reach. Additionally, Iagon and

The ledger team has made significant strides in modernization efforts, with major improvements to the CDDL-generation tool for better code readability and accuracy. Support for GHC 8.10 has been dropped, allowing for the use of more advanced compiler checks and optimizations. One legacy bug has been resolved, and early work on nested transactions has begun. Preparations are underway for a planned intra-era hard fork later this year.

The Mithril team has released version 2524.0, which supports Cardano node 10.4.1 and introduces a new CLI tool for converting UTXO-HD ledger state snapshots.
