CAP Tree-Table Support Now Generally Available: Enhancing Hierarchical Data Management

SAP Cloud Programming Model (CAP) has announced the general availability of Tree-Table Support, a milestone reached after months of work. Key features include hierarchical entity definition, hierarchical queries, and read-only usage. Modification capabilities have also been added, including node operations, hierarchy management, and object page support. The support is available for SAP HANA, H2, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. However, there are some limitations, such as interception and modification of hierarchical queries and arbitrary OData query options. A demo recording and sample apps are available for developers to try out the new features.
