Canola futures on the Intercontinental ExchangeICE-- rose on Monday, driven by gains in comparable oils such as crude oil, soyoil, and palm oil. The slow pace of the Prairie canola harvest and inflamed tensions between Russia and Ukraine also boosted oilseed values. The Canadian dollar was down two-tenths of a U.S. cent compared to Friday's close. Statistics Canada will release its latest principal field crop report on Wednesday.
