According to Canalys, the PC market in mainland China has experienced a recovery, with a YoY growth of 2% in Q4 2024.

Canalys predicts that the PC market in mainland China will grow by 3% in 2025, reaching 41 million units; the tablet market will grow by 1%, reaching 31.9 million units. According to Canalys' latest data, the PC market in mainland China began to recover in the fourth quarter of 2024, with a 2% YoY growth driven by an 8% surge in consumer demand. Among them, the notebook market grew 6% YoY to 8.6 million units; the desktop market declined 9% YoY to 2.9 million units; the tablet market remained relatively stable, down 1% YoY to 8.3 million units. Despite the rebound in PC shipments at the end of the year, the overall PC shipments in 2024 still declined 4% YoY to 39.7 million units, affected by the weak commercial demand. However, the tablet market grew 11% YoY to 31.5 million units in 2024, and is expected to maintain the growth momentum in 2025. Canalys expects the mainland China PC market to grow 3% YoY to 41 million units in 2025, thanks to government consumption subsidies and new product releases from major vendors; the tablet market to grow 1% YoY to 31.9 million units.
