Canadian cannabis firm Organigram has acquired German medical cannabis producer Sanity Group for up to €250 million ($295 million). The deal gives Organigram a footprint in the E.U. and highlights Canadian cannabis companies' competitive edge in expanding globally due to coherent federal legalization and premier exchanges. Sanity Group's revenue more than tripled from 2024 to 2025, reaching €60 million.
