The South Niagara Hospital (SNH) in Ontario is under construction and set to become Canada's first WELL-certified hospital. The $3.6-billion project will centralize the Niagara Region's medical services and include 469 single-patient rooms, adding 154 more hospital beds. The hospital will also feature a 24/7 emergency department and specialized units for complex care, stroke treatment, and wellness in aging. The new hospital aims to promote better capacity and access to care.
