Oklo, a nuclear fuels company, and Centrus, a uranium enrichment company, have begun discussions on forming a joint venture to develop a precursor to fuel-grade uranium called deconversion. This process converts enriched uranium into usable fuel for small reactors, which Oklo plans to use in its proposed reactors.
