Caliber Properties, a diversified alternative real estate and digital asset platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Current and InCharge Energy to deploy EV charging infrastructure and enhance sustainable asset enhancements across its portfolio. The initial project will break ground at numerous Caliber hotels and sites in Phoenix, Arizona, aiming to provide commercial charging and energy solutions.

The partnership is designed to deploy advanced EV charging infrastructure, develop rideshare hubs, and enhance energy efficiency measures across Caliber’s hospitality, multifamily, and industrial properties. This initiative is expected to reduce energy costs, attract high-value tenants and guests, and drive profitability improvements while supporting sustainable practices.

InCharge Energy will design, construct, and install EV charging sites at various Caliber locations, providing ongoing InService support. This collaboration will further accelerate Caliber’s strategic technological and sustainability advantage, enhancing the desirability and valuation of its expansive commercial holdings.

Current, a leading EV infrastructure investor and developer, is excited to support this expanded access through its ability to rapidly scale these solutions nationwide. The partnership builds on Current's mission to lead the transition to a sustainable energy future by delivering zero-emission solutions through cutting-edge electric vehicles and charging technology.

The project is part of a larger initiative by Current to leverage InCharge’s nationwide charging network and in-house service support to expand access to EV solutions and Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS), an emerging investment category. This collaboration is set to significantly impact the commercial real estate sector by integrating sustainable technologies and enhancing operational efficiency.
