Caliber, a diversified alternative real estate and digital asset platform, has partnered with Current and InCharge Energy to deploy EV charging infrastructure across its portfolio. The partnership aims to provide commercial charging and energy solutions for Caliber's hotels and sites in Phoenix, Arizona. This move supports the region's emergence as a hub for autonomous vehicle and electric vehicle innovation.

Caliber (Nasdaq: CWD), a diversified alternative real estate and digital asset platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with Current and InCharge Energy to deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across its portfolio. The collaboration, which focuses on providing commercial charging and energy solutions, is expected to enhance the operational efficiency and sustainability of Caliber's assets in Phoenix, Arizona.

The partnership will see InCharge Energy design, construct, and install EV charging sites at numerous Caliber locations, with ongoing InService support provided by InCharge's customizable service plans and maintenance software. Current, a leading EV infrastructure investor and developer, will support the initiative by leveraging its nationwide charging network and in-house service support to expand access to EV solutions and Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS).

The initial project is set to break ground at various Caliber hotels and sites in Phoenix, which is emerging as a premier U.S. destination for autonomous vehicle and electric vehicle innovation. The partnership aims to reduce energy costs, attract high-value tenants and guests, and drive meaningful profitability improvements while supporting sustainable practices.

According to Chris Loeffler, CEO of Caliber, the collaboration will deploy advanced EV charging infrastructure, develop rideshare hubs, and enhance energy efficiency measures across Caliber's hospitality, multifamily, and industrial properties. By reducing energy costs and attracting high-value tenants and guests, these amenities are expected to drive meaningful profitability improvements while supporting sustainable practices that benefit both investors and communities.

Cameron Funk, President and Executive Board Chair of InCharge Energy, stated, "We’re proud to collaborate with Caliber, a world-class real estate investor and developer, to create additional value across their portfolio by constructing autonomous and rideshare hubs, installing future-ready, sustainable EV charging and energy efficiency options to help maximize returns for their investors."

Pip Decker, CEO of Current, added, "Hotels and commercial properties are increasingly recognizing the value of offering embedded amenities to attract a broader audience, including rideshare users. We are excited to support this expanded access through our ability to rapidly scale these solutions nationwide."

This partnership builds upon Current and InCharge's previous collaboration to power rideshare growth in California, Texas, and Arizona, with these states representing the first phase of a larger initiative by Current to leverage InCharge's nationwide charging network and in-house service support to expand access to EV solutions and Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS).
