RIDGELAND, Miss.--Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALM) announced the appointment of Melanie Boulden to its Board of Directors as an independent director, effective August 11, 2025. Boulden, a seasoned executive with nearly three decades of experience in the food and beverage industry, will serve until the 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders and join the Compensation, Audit, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.
Boulden's extensive background includes roles at The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods Group Inc., and Tyson Foods, Inc., where she served as Group President of the Prepared Food business unit and Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer. Her responsibilities at Tyson Foods included leading a multibillion-dollar portfolio of brands such as Jimmy Dean®, Hillshire Farm®, and Ball Park®, and managing several manufacturing facilities and over 19,000 team members.
