Bybit Sponsors India Blockchain Tour 2025 to Boost Web3 Adoption

Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its title sponsorship of the India Blockchain Tour (IBT) 2025. This initiative, led by Octaloop, aims to accelerate India’s journey into the Web3 era. The tour will span eight cities, beginning in Hyderabad on June 28 and concluding in Bengaluru on November 30. The flagship event, Metamorphosis 2025, is scheduled for September 27-28 in New Delhi.

Bybit's sponsorship underscores its long-term commitment to India's blockchain ecosystem. The tour is designed to bring together key stakeholders, including policymakers, investors, founders, developers, and blockchain enthusiasts. It serves as a platform to showcase local innovation and foster connections between India’s Web3 talent and global projects.

Vikas Gupta, Head of India at Bybit, emphasized the significance of this partnership. "India is one of the most dynamic landscapes for blockchain innovation. By partnering with the IBT, we reaffirm our long-term commitment to empowering India’s crypto community through education and builder support," he stated.

Each stop on the IBT tour will feature high-impact engagements, including fireside chats with global exchange leaders and blockchain founders, policy panels with lawmakers and regulators, builder-focused workshops, and startup showcases. These events will be conducted in five Indian languages, ensuring broad participation across different regions and cultures.

Vikas Gupta will also deliver a session titled "From FOMO to Fundamentals: Fixing India's Crypto Literacy Gap." This session will address the disparity between India’s high crypto adoption and low financial and crypto literacy. Gupta will highlight Bybit’s initiatives, such as Bybit Learn, community engagement, and university collaborations with blockchain societies at IIT Delhi and IIT Kharagpur, to bridge this gap.

Metamorphosis 2025, Octaloop’s flagship Web3 summit, will be relocated to New Delhi for this edition. This move aims to blend the energy of grassroots communities with the influence of national policymaking, providing a comprehensive platform for Web3 discussions and innovations.

In addition to its community-building efforts, Bybit has recently completed its registration with the Financial Intelligence Unit - India (FIU-IND). This milestone reaffirms Bybit’s commitment to operating transparently and in accordance with Indian regulations, further solidifying its readiness to play a constructive, long-term role in India’s digital asset ecosystem.
