Bybit EU has launched its first Launchpool that complies with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, in collaboration with blockchain project XION. The initiative, which became available on August 14, 2025, features a rewards pool of 100,000 XION tokens, valued at approximately $110,000 [2]. Users in the European Economic Area can stake XION, Mantle (MNT), and
stablecoin, earning annual percentage yields (APRs) of 60%, 36%, and 24% respectively [2]. The APRs are structured to reflect the relative risk of the underlying assets, with potential losses if the value of the staked tokens declines during the lockup period. The partnership marks XION’s first appearance as a Launchpool project on a MiCA-compliant platform. Anthony Anzalone, Founder of XION, stated that the collaboration is designed to offer a secure and user-friendly on-ramp for mainstream audiences to interact with blockchain technology [2]. Bybit EU has been operating under a MiCAR-licensed framework since July 2025 and views this initiative as part of its broader strategy to demonstrate how regulatory compliance can coexist with innovation in the crypto space [2]. Mazurka Zeng, CEO of Bybit EU, noted that obtaining the regulatory license in Austria was a key milestone, underscoring the company’s focus on expanding compliant services across Europe [2].
This Launchpool is part of Bybit EU’s larger efforts to position itself as a leading provider of regulated crypto products in Europe. The exchange has previously highlighted that the MiCA framework provides much-needed regulatory clarity, enabling firms like Bybit to scale their operations across the region [2]. With this new product, Bybit EU is reinforcing its commitment to innovation within a compliant framework, aligning with its vision for 2025 [1].
