Bumble reported Q2 EPS of -$2.45, revenue of $248M, and revenue of $248M (-7.8% Y/Y) beat expectations by $2.35M. Bumble App Revenue decreased 7.6% to $201.4 million, while including a favorable impact of $1.2 million from foreign exchange.

Bumble Inc. (NASDAQ: BMBL) released its Q2 earnings report, revealing a net loss of $2.45 per share, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $0.39. Despite the loss, the company's revenue of $248 million exceeded expectations by $2.35 million, a significant improvement over the previous year's $250.35 million. This marks a 7.8% year-over-year (YoY) decrease in revenue.

The Bumble App revenue decreased by 7.6% to $201.4 million, which included a favorable impact of $1.2 million from foreign currency movements. The Badoo App and Other Revenue segment saw a 7.5% decline to $46.8 million, also benefiting from a $1.1 million favorable impact from foreign currency movements.

The company's total paying users decreased by 8.7% to 3.8 million, compared to 4.1 million in the same period last year. However, the average revenue per paying user ("ARPPU") increased to $21.69, up from $21.37 in the previous quarter.

The stock price of Bumble Inc. closed down by 7% following the release of the earnings report.
