The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has directed Brookfield Asset Management to renew a performance guarantee for its bid to acquire IL&FS' headquarters in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex. Brookfield had submitted a Rs 108 crore bid and a 10% performance guarantee, but has not renewed it since April. IL&FS has revalued the property at Rs 1,722 crore and requested Brookfield to revise its bid to Rs 1,481 crore. Brookfield has appealed the matter to the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
