Brookfield Wealth Solutions has agreed to buy UK insurer Just Group Plc for £2.4 billion ($3.2 billion), marking its entry into the UK's pension risk-transfer market. The deal represents a 75% premium to Just Group's closing price on July 30. Brookfield expects over £500 billion of demand for pension buyouts in the UK over the next decade. The acquisition is expected to complete in the first half of 2026.
