Queensland Rail has released CCTV footage showing near-misses, falls, and commuters getting caught in doors. The footage is described as "heart-stopping" by Queensland Rail's security and emergency preparedness manager, Drew Brock. The state's most accident-prone station was Central Station, with over 50 injuries reported last financial year. Queensland recorded the highest number of near-misses between cars and trains, with 220 instances in the past year, accounting for 44% of the national figure.
