BAER--
Bridger Aerospace surged 10.59% intraday after announcing the completion of a $50 million purchase of two Canadair CL-215T Super Scoopers and the addition of four Air Attack aircraft to its fleet. The expansion, funded via its $210 million Senior Secured Term Loan Facility, increased its Super Scooper count to eight—more than any other private operator—and expanded its Light Fixed Wing Air Attack fleet to 11. The CEO highlighted the move’s potential to enhance mission capability, secure expanded contract awards, and drive revenue and cash flow growth starting in 2026. The strategic fleet expansion, coupled with confidence in the company’s positioning for the upcoming fire season, likely drove the sharp intraday rally.
