Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings has acquired two Canadair CL-215T amphibious aircraft from MAB Funding for $50 million, expanding its Super Scooper fleet from six to eight. The deal cements Bridger's status as the largest privately held Super Scooper fleet globally. The aircraft are expected to be operational by the end of the year, with two more Super Scoopers undergoing return-to-service upgrades. The acquisition is expected to boost Bridger's ability to secure more contracts and expand mission coverage for the 2026 wildfire season and future operations.
