Brenmiller Energy (BNRG) has secured EU funding for a significant solar project incorporating its bGen TES technology. The project aims to boost renewable heat solutions across Europe and involves some of the largest energy corporations globally. Brenmiller Europe, a joint venture in Spain, will provide distributed bGen TES systems with a combined electrical charge capacity of about 5 MWe, generating approximately EUR 4 million in revenue.

Brenmiller Energy (BNRG) has announced that a significant solar energy project integrating its bGen Thermal Energy Storage (TES) solution has received funding from the European Union's Innovation Fund 2023. The project, led by major European energy companies, aims to accelerate the deployment of sustainable heat solutions across Europe.

The project involves the installation of 5 MWe bGen distributed TES systems, with Brenmiller Europe, a joint venture in Spain, expected to supply these systems. This supply is anticipated to generate approximately EUR 4 million in revenue for Brenmiller Europe [1].

The project's primary objective is to boost industrial energy efficiency by 104% and prevent 1.45 million tons of CO2 equivalent emissions over its first decade of operation. The innovative solution combines renewable energy, thermal energy storage, and high-temperature heat pumps to power industrial processes [2].

This funding represents a significant milestone for Brenmiller Energy, strengthening its European presence and validating its commercial pipeline. The project's success could lead to further replication of the concept across Europe's industrial sector [3].
