Vale, a Brazilian miner and steelmaker, is investigating an overflow of water with sediment at its Fábrica mine in Minas Gerais state. The incident occurred during the weekend and sent water into a competitor's site, Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN). Vale's stock closed down 2.9% on Monday.
