Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded a $315 million contract for the Advanced Battle Management System Distributed Battle Management Node Phase II Tactical Operations Center-Light. The contract, with a maximum performance period of up to five years, aims to deliver a tactical operations center for rapid prototyping. This contract aligns with Booz Allen's expertise in providing innovative solutions for the defense sector.

Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has been awarded a $315 million contract to deliver the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Distributed Battle Management Node Phase II Tactical Operations Center-Light (TOC-L) prototype for the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM). The contract, with a maximum performance period of up to five years, aims to enhance tactical decision-making through rapid relocation and deployment of command and control (C2) capabilities. Booz Allen will partner with L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) for this rapid prototyping effort aimed at enabling Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) [1].

The TOC-L prototype, built on Booz Allen's Modular Detachment Kit (MDK) concept, is designed to securely connect sensors, decision-makers, and weapons at the edge. This solution has demonstrated significant mission impact in live-fire exercises and operational deployments. Booz Allen's engineering, manufacturing, and production capabilities will be leveraged to achieve the potential of this program, with successful demonstrations at 20 large-scale exercises and experiments [1].

Booz Allen's president of the Defense Technology Group, Steve Escaravage, expressed excitement about the partnership with L3Harris, stating, "With Modular Detachment Kit, we launched an investment to develop a C2 solution that met the expectations of the warfighters on our team. The resulting solution was engineered to meet the nuanced needs of today’s mission and operating environments—balancing flexibility, security, and intuitiveness in use" [1].

The contract aligns with Booz Allen's expertise in providing innovative solutions for the defense sector. By combining Booz Allen's strengths in C2 systems with L3Harris's capabilities in tactical radios, datalinks, and waveform development, the partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of mission-ready technology for the nation's warfighters [1].
