The 15-minute chart for Exponent recently triggered an expanding downward Bollinger Bands and a bearish Marubozu at 08/28/2025 11:15. This indicates that the market trend is currently being driven by sellers, with sellers maintaining control over the market. Consequently, there is a high likelihood of continued bearish momentum.

Bengaluru-based energy-tech startup Exponent Energy has introduced its next-generation charging station, the P4, which offers 15-minute rapid charging for electric vehicles (EVs). The innovative design of the P4 addresses space, usability, and battery performance challenges, making it a significant advancement in the EV charging infrastructure.

The P4 features a wall-style design that is just 400 mm slim, running along the length of the vehicle to maximize space efficiency in crowded urban environments. This design, coupled with floating cables equipped with a 3-axis suspension system, makes the connector nearly weightless and effortless to plug in, with automatic retraction when not in use [1].

One of the standout features of the P4 is its pre-heating capability, which ensures rapid charging and longer battery life even in colder climates. The system supports both cooling and heating, enabling performance across diverse environments. The Exponent App complements the hardware, offering real-time charger locations, availability, and seamless payments through a monthly pass, eliminating the need for keycards or manual transactions [1].

The P4 delivers up to 40 kW of power and is already being deployed in cities across India with OEM partners such as Montra Electric (Murugappa Group) and Omega Seiki Mobility, driving adoption across both passenger and commercial EVs. Since its founding in 2020, Exponent has powered over 2,000 EVs, enabled more than 8 lakh rapid charging sessions, and covered 50 million kilometers. The company has also expanded to five new cities—Delhi NCR, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Last year, it became one of only three companies worldwide to introduce 1 MW rapid charging for buses [1].
