Boeing has named Greg Parker CEO of its defense and space unit, a role he has held interim since September. Parker, a 37-year Boeing veteran, replaces Ted Colbert and inherits a business impacted by contract overruns and space program setbacks. The appointment follows Boeing's decision to name former Lockheed Martin executive Jay Malave as CFO, effective Aug. 15.
