BNB Chain's AI-First Approach: Sub-Second Transactions by 2025
BNB Chain, the blockchain network developed by Binance, has announced its Tech Roadmap for 2025, with a strong focus on AI. The network aims to reduce transaction latency to sub-second speeds while processing 100 million transactions per day. BNB Chain plans to leverage AI solutions to meet many of these goals, marking a new "AI-First" approach.
BNB Chain has been actively developing new features in recent months. In February, it introduced a development solution for AI Agents and created a platform to simplify meme coin launches. The network's Tech Roadmap for 2025 builds on these developments and outlines key upgrades to improve both technical performance and user experience, paving the way for broader Web3 adoption.
According to the roadmap, BNB Chain will prioritize integrating AI into dApps and using DataDAOs to allow fair monetization and incentivized contributions on private datasets. The network also plans to reduce transaction latency, allow a gasless option for all types of user transactions, and shore up protections against maximal extractable value (MEV) attacks, especially sandwich attacks.
The announcement of the roadmap had a brief impact on the market price of BNB, the fifth-largest altcoin. Following the announcement on Tuesday, February 11, BNB surged nearly 10% and its daily trading volume surged by 17%, according to CoinMarketCap data.
BNB Chain's focus on AI is not surprising, given the growing importance of AI in various industries. By integrating AI into its network, BNB Chain aims to enhance its functionality and attract more users. As the blockchain industry continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how BNB Chain's AI-first approach shapes the future of the network and the broader blockchain ecosystem.
