Blackstone has acquired the remaining stake in US-based Cvent from Vista Equity Partners for $1.3bn, marking Vista's complete exit from the Virginia-based software company. Cvent provides event planning and management software tools, with over 5,000 employees and 24,000 customers worldwide as of 2024. The acquisition follows Vista's initial investment in Cvent in 2016 and Blackstone's $4.6bn acquisition of Cvent in 2023.
