Bittensor's dTAO Upgrade: Shifting AI Network to Market Forces

Bittensor, a decentralized AI project, has announced a significant upgrade to its network, the Dynamic TAO (dTAO) upgrade, scheduled for October 14th. This upgrade is set to be the most substantial since the network's inception and aims to shift issuance distribution from a few large validators' trusted capital allocation to pure market forces.

The dTAO upgrade will enable each AI market, now a TAO subnetwork project, to operate using its own token. The issuance will flow based on the token's relative price, creating a more decentralized and market-driven ecosystem. This shift is expected to enhance the network's resilience and promote fairer token distribution.

The upgrade vote was approved in Bittensor's Discord community, and the upgrade process is set to take place from October 10th to the 14th. This upgrade is a testament to Bittensor's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in the decentralized AI space.
