Bitget Launches Starlink Program for Remote Connectivity in Philippines

This deployment will provide six months of high-speed satellite internet, enabling access to online educational resources, teacher training programs, and e-governance tools. Bitget plans to offer sustained support through its $10M Blockchain 4 Youth and $10M Blockchain 4 Her initiatives, which will introduce blockchain literacy and digital finance skills to students and women-led cooperatives. The total investment for this phase is 155,400 Philippine pesos, covering hardware, subscriptions, and logistics.

Prior to this initiative, local residents in these areas relied heavily on microwave radio frequency communication, which often resulted in frequent network outages and slow speeds. This made it difficult for residents to meet basic needs such as online learning and telemedicine. The introduction of satellite internet access through the Starlink Program is expected to significantly improve these issues, providing more stable and reliable information services to the local community.

The Starlink Program underscores the growing awareness within the crypto industry that widespread adoption begins with access.
