Bitfinex, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has released its latest update, Version 1.115, on May 14, 2025. This update includes a range of improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing the user experience and platform functionality.

The update introduces several key improvements to the platform. One notable change is the enhancement of the Funding order form input validation, which now disallows the use of plus and minus symbols when they are not relevant. Additionally, the derivatives update order form has been modified to allow users to clear the leverage input more easily. The platform has also added Permitted Beneficiaries terms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

In terms of API management, Bitfinex has added a button in the Settings section that allows users to revoke all API keys in one action, streamlining the process of managing API access. The responsiveness of the newly-created API keys page on small screens has also been improved, making it easier for users to manage their API keys on mobile devices.

The update also includes support for USDT withdrawals in Securities sub-accounts, providing users with more flexibility in managing their assets. The fiat minimum withdrawal fees have been updated, and the platform now displays the Beneficiary address after selecting the Saved bank information in the Review and send step of wire withdrawals. The wire withdrawals list has been updated to display the full fiat name, enhancing clarity for users.

For security and compliance, the platform now displays ‘None of the above’ when the Travel Rule destination VASP name yields no results, and shows the time of the previous login instead of the current one. The sub-accounts table layout has been improved, and the responsiveness of address input when adding a new address has been enhanced. Additionally, token name tooltips have been added to movements modals for better user guidance.

On the bug fixes front, the update addresses several issues reported by users. The logged-out confirmation modal’s close button for inactive sessions has been fixed, and the platform now prevents the display of a new modal if another modal is already open. A brief flicker when moving old Alert lines on the TradingView chart has been resolved, and the ‘Update orders’ button is now disabled when an invalid input is entered in the bulk Edit modal of the Orders widget.

The duplicate date issue in the Trades widget due to timezone for the last trades in date sorting has been fixed, and the ‘Pay less trading fees’ link, which was missing in pie chart view in the Balances widget, is now displayed. The selected layout is now correctly loaded when refreshing the TradingView chart panel, and the Depth Chart “no data” issue causing the main page to become non-scrollable has been resolved.

The withdrawal security settings have been aligned to ensure the ‘Show an example’ link is properly displayed, and the background being scrollable when there is an open modal issue has been fixed. The IP address whitelist input disappearing in the session settings has been resolved, and the revoke key error handling when 2FA was incorrectly entered has been improved.

These updates reflect Bitfinex's commitment to continuously improving its platform to meet the evolving needs of its users. By addressing both user feedback and internal improvements, Bitfinex aims to provide a seamless and secure trading experience.
