Binance Hosts Bubblemaps TGE on PancakeSwap, BMT Price Surges
Binance has announced that it will host the Token Generation Event (TGE) for Bubblemaps (BMT) on PancakeSwap. bmt, the native token of Bubblemaps, serves as both a governance and utility token, unlocking advanced analytical features within the platform. The TGE is scheduled to begin on March 11, 2025, at 8:00 am UTC, with a subscription cap of 3 BNB per user to ensure fair access. The event aims to raise $800,000, with up to 40 million BMT tokens issued, accounting for 4% of the total supply.
To participate in the TGE, users must have the Binance App updated to version 2.97.0 or above and hold BNB on the BNB Smart Chain in a keyless Binance Wallet. Those without BNB can swap within the Binance Wallet Trade tab or deposit directly from their Binance Spot account. Immediately following the announcement, the price of BMT experienced a modest surge, reflecting user optimism.
Binance's involvement in the Bubblemaps TGE has sparked speculation about a potential listing of BMT on the platform. This speculation is fueled by the fact that MyShell (SHELL) conducted its TGE on Binance Wallet before its listing on Binance. However, Binance has recently committed to allowing community votes on token listings and delistings, aiming to boost community involvement and transparency amid past listing controversies. Despite this, Binance will retain discretion over the final decisions.
Trading for BMT will commence immediately after the subscription period. However, Binance has warned that any BMT tokens circulating before the official launch time are fraudulent. Users are advised to verify the BMT contract before trading. This TGE follows Bubblemaps’ recent $3.2 million funding round, led by INCE Capital, which aims to support the expansion of Bubblemaps’ analytical capabilities and the development of its investigation platform. Bubblemaps initially announced the BMT token launch in January, preparing to integrate its advanced tracking tools with Solana and other blockchains.
