Binance Founder's Crypto Portfolio: 98% BNB, 1% Bitcoin
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has recently revealed the composition of his personal crypto portfolio, providing a glimpse into his investment strategy. According to a post on Binance Square, Zhao's portfolio is heavily weighted towards BNB, the native asset of Binance, which accounts for 98.48% of his crypto holdings.
Zhao's portfolio also includes a small allocation to Bitcoin (BTC), representing 1.32% of his total crypto assets. Additionally, he holds two stablecoins, EURI and USDT, which make up 0.17% and 0.03% of his portfolio, respectively. Zhao shared his portfolio using Binance Square's new feature, Trader Profile, which allows users to publicly display their crypto portfolio allocation.
Zhao's revelation comes as he assumes an active advisory role in YZi Labs, the venture capital arm of Binance, following his four-month sentence for violating U.S. anti-money-laundering laws. He is prohibited from returning to Binance leadership. YZi Labs, previously known as Binance Labs, continues to support visionary entrepreneurs and push technological boundaries across various sectors under the leadership of Ella Zhang, its former head.
At the time of writing, BNB is trading at $638, down 2.2% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is trading at $94,661, having declined nearly 10% over the past month.
