Binance Delists Crypto Pairs, Sparking Market Anticipation of Price Drops

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its decision to delist certain trading pairs for DOGS, FET, NEIRO, and NOT crypto tokens. This move has sparked significant market attention and anticipation of a potential price drop for these tokens due to reduced market exposure.

In an official update on February 19, Binance revealed its plan to delist four specific crypto spot trading pairs on February 21 at 03:00 UTC. The pairs to be delisted include DOGS/BRL, FET/BRL, NEIRO/BRL, NEIRO/EUR, and NOT/EUR.

The exchange giant stated that this decision is part of its ongoing effort to provide users with a protected and high-quality trading market. Following periodic reviews, Binance identified concerns such as poor liquidity and trading volume, among other factors, which led to the delisting of these pairs.

In addition to delisting these trading pairs, Binance will also terminate its 'Spot Trading Bots services' for the listed crypto pairs on the same date and time. The exchange urges users to update or cancel their trading bots prior to the cessation of services to avoid any potential losses.

Market sentiments remain bearish in the wake of these delistings, as similar actions on top crypto exchanges have historically triggered price drops due to reduced market exposure. CoinGape previously reported that Binance announced plans to delist AirDAO (AMB), CLV, StormX (STMX), and VITE on February 17. The delisting announcement indeed generated a bearish wave in these assets' price trajectories.

AMB price lost nearly 42% since February 17, reaching 0.001876, while CLV price tanked over 21% within the same duration, reaching $0.03622. STMX price cracked by over 13% to date and closed in at $0.003756. Lastly, VITE price lost 50% since February 17 and exchanged hands at $0.003764. These waning actions have solidified investors' concerns over DOGS, FET, NEIRO, and NOT crypto tokens.
