Billionaire Investor Urges Leniency for Javice in JPMorgan Fraud Case

Apollo Global Management CEO Marc Rowan has written a letter to a judge urging leniency for Charlie Javice, who was convicted of defrauding JPMorgan Chase in its acquisition of her student finance startup Frank. Rowan, an investor in and board member at Frank, praised Javice's character and predicted she will make meaningful contributions to society. Over 100 others have also filed letters in her support, but prosecutors have yet to recommend a sentence.
