BHP Raises Jansen Potash Mine Cost Estimate to $8.4 Billion

BHP Group has raised the cost estimate for the first stage of its Jansen potash project in Saskatchewan to $8.4 billion, up from a previous estimate of $7.4 billion to $7 billion. The project is expected to produce 4.15 million tonnes per year and first production is expected in mid-2027. The mine is 75% complete.
