The company's total income increased to Rs 5658.07 crore, while total expenses rose to Rs 6279.78 crore. BHEL attributed the loss primarily to overdue amounts from customers in Sudan and Rajasthan [1].

The company's revenue for the quarter was Rs 3387 crore, which was a decrease from the Rs 4106 crore reported in the corresponding period last year. The EBITDA margin for the quarter was 19.71%, down from 19.54% in the same period last year. The company is currently working on recovering these amounts and expects to see an improvement in its financial performance in the subsequent quarters.

The stock market reaction to the news was mixed, with BHEL's shares trading lower on the NSE. Investors are closely watching the company's efforts to recover the overdue amounts and improve its financial health.
