BAT CFO Soraya Benchikh Resigns After Less Than a Year

British American Tobacco Plc's CFO, Soraya Benchikh, is stepping down immediately after a little over a year in the role. Javed Iqbal, currently director of digital and information, will take up the position on an interim basis. Benchikh will remain available to support the transition until the end of the year. Benchikh previously worked at Diageo Plc and returned to BAT in May 2024 after a 20-year absence.
