Bassett Furniture Industries Reports Q1 FY26 Sales Decline, Plans for $1.5M-$2M Annual Savings

Bassett Furniture Industries reported Q1 fiscal 2026 sales down 2.2%. CEO Robert Spilman attributed the decline to a softening of demand after a strong start to the quarter. The company plans to implement a $1.5M-$2M annual savings plan starting in late Q2 to offset the decline.
