A tragic event unfolded in Northwest Baltimore on a Saturday evening when gunfire erupted at the intersection of Spaulding and Queensbury Avenues, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries. Baltimore Police responded promptly to a call about the shooting at approximately 8:45 p.m.

On arrival, the authorities discovered six individuals with gunshot wounds. The victims comprised four adult males, a female, and a 5-year-old girl. The child suffered a gunshot wound to her hand, which, although distressing, was assessed as not life-threatening. Other victims, comprised of a 23-year-old woman and male individuals aged 32, 33, and 52, were also wounded, each sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. In contrast, a 38-year-old male victim was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a medical facility for surgery.
