Baker Hughes has been awarded a contract by Bechtel to supply primary liquefaction equipment for Train 5 of NextDecade's Rio Grande LNG facility in Texas. The order includes Frame 7 gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, replicating proven solutions from previous trains. The technology will enable an additional LNG production capacity of approximately 6 MTPA.
